The Purpose of a Business

To me the sole purpose of a business is to give the owner of that business more life. But…until you understand what that means to you…what your own personal view of what more life looks like, then a business will do just the opposite.
Have any of you discovered that your business can suck the life right out of you. For my first entry of the year I want to urge you to read a book by Brian Tracy.
The book is called Maximum Achievement
Strategies and Skills That Will Unlock Your Hidden Powers to Succeed. So much of what we accomplish has little to do with talent and lots to do with our thoughts and actions. This is one of the first books that really helped me understand just how much our everyday thoughts control the results we get from our businesses and our lives. But more importantly, it gives a blueprint for how to take charge of those thoughts and use them to succeed.
