Talking to Digg CEO – Jay Adelson

By John Jantsch

I had a great chat with Digg CEO – Jay Adelson on the Duct Tape Marketing Podcast. He gives some hints about what’s coming up next at Digg.

Digg is another one of those “came out of nowhere” services that now owns a substantial piece of web real estate.

For those not familiar: Digg is a technology news website that combines social bookmarking, blogging, RSS, and non-hierarchical editorial control. With Digg, users submit stories for review, but rather than allow an editor to decide which stories go on the homepage, the users do.

This type of democratic news creation allows some great stories to be heard.

Adelson gives a great overview of Digg and hints at future service upgrades and changes going on.
