Are the Search Engines Tired of Your Home Page?

By John Jantsch

Dynamic content creation is a necessary part of your overall web strategy. Blogs and RSS feeds are being used by small businesses everywhere. Unfortunately, this has caused a bit of stagnation on the static portions of the site, namely the home page. If your home page never changes, the search engines will grow tired of visiting your site.

From a search engine standpoint, not to mention most users, the home page is still the first look. You can’t simply blog and call content creation done. This little practice tells the search engines that this page had something new, this page changes often, – this alone will improve your search results.
