According to the Wall Street Journal, Amazon.com is set to launch music service this summer to rival Apple’s iTunes.
Others have tried and failed – bet on Amazon.
Amazon gets its customers. They know more about how to market and service customers than any organization in the world. Many of the online marketing tactics they pioneered, such as affiliate programs, referral programs, free shipping to members and recommended products features are now standard marketing practice.
